Tyge's Baptism

This Memorial Day weekend we are thankful for our veterans and for the freedoms their sacrifice has afforded us. One of those being our freedom of religion. Faith is important to our family, and we are blessed to be surrounded by family and friends that share the same values. This weekend we formally introduced Tyge to our Catholic church!

His godmother Julie (Danny's sister) and his Ava helped to get him dressed. While Weston was more concerned with other things....
Tyge with his godparents, Julie and David (Danny's brother).
Our parish is pretty small, and Father Fred does an excellent job of making everyone feel welcome. The whole mass was special, as he invited us to join the procession in and out of church, and also referenced Tyge during his homily in the middle of Mass.

David, Traci, Matthew and Tyge.
Our happy family (couldn't leave out Flo, could we!).
