Crabby baby.

Three people now have asked if Weston ever cries...although I would love to say no, he in fact does. Actually, last Sunday after a nice dinner out to celebrate my birthday, we went to retrieve our boy from the neighbor's house and one of their first comments was that "he has a healthy set of lungs". I don't ever post the bad pictures because I never thought that the world would want to see them. So, to prove that he does do other things than smile, here is a little video for all to see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6SQF1zqzlw. Keep in mind this video shows what I refer to as his "attention cry"...short lived and turns to smiles quickly. I don't think anyone in their right mind would enjoy watching a video of his really loud "I'm mad and hungry/tired cry", because it is not pretty.

Another milestone today...Wes sits up on his own. Okay, so he has some assistance here, but I no longer have to set him on the floor when I am in the kitchen. And sorry, but he is smiling in this picture, but I just love it since it appears that he bears some resemblance to Buddha.

Happy days...

Weston continues to be a happy baby...he loves being propped up on the bed when I am folding laundry or getting ready in the mornings! If you are unable to read the fine print on his t-shirt...it indicates that he is a "member of milkaholics anonymous". Yesterday I left him for the first time with Lacey, who will be watching him when I am at work...she reported that he was great for her and she is more than willing to take him back (good thing).

Happy Valentine's Day

Weston's message on this wonderful day... ...it's on his shirt if you hadn't figured it out. And, and you can see, his new favorite position is sitting up in the corner of the couch or chair.

Back by popular demand.

Here is yet another performance by our Weston...not as vocal as in the last video, but here he is showing off his dancing abilities. (And once again, I can't get the video directly on the blog, so you'll have to clink on the link). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-ytpTDlGT0
Oh, and Flo continues to keep a close eye her buddy.

Throw out the swing...

...and get rid of the bouncer. Weston is content just about anywhere except in any of the contraptions he once loved. Here he is lying on the kitchen floor. As long as he can hear the hustle and bustle of what I'm doing, he is happy as can be!Here is one of him laughing at his dad. He is already such a ham!
