Did I mention only six weeks til Baby #2 arrives?

Can I just say that I feel HUGE! I haven't gained any more weight than I put on with Weston, but even Danny says I am much bigger this time around (thanks honey). Some of my maternity shirts aren't even covering my belly anymore. I'm starting to think I will have a 12 pound baby instead of a 9 pounder like Weston was.
We still have a ways to go before the baby arrives, but everything is ready...just in case this one decides to come two weeks early rather than two weeks late. I've sorted thru everything that I saved from the first time around, and I saved everything! Crib is ready. Newborn clothes have been put away in the dresser. Bouncer, swing, car seat, etc. are all cleaned and re-assembled. Purchased what seem to be the tiniest diapers ever (when compared to what Weston is wearing now...yes I will have two in diapers). Added to the collection of creams/gas drops and ointments. Now we play the waiting game.
Since Weston will soon have to share the spotlight I thought I would post just a few more of my favorite pictures from the last couple of weeks.
He is so proud that he can now get Flo to come up onto his bed (although she is very unsure about being allowed up there and won't stay for long).
And he also enjoys standing in her water bucket.

The great pumpkin

This year we had a bumper crop of minature pumpins, but our few carving pumpkins are all about the size of a large cantaloupe. So we headed to Lone Pine Farms to get just one "biggie" to put out on the front porch. The first Saturday in October was perfect....the sun was shining and it hasn't rained enough for the pumpkin patch to be muddy. And, we went just before the U of O/Stanford game was set to begin, so everyone else in Eugene was either at the stadium or glued to a TV somewhere.
Weston wasn't that interested in feeding the goats or looking at pumpkins while we were there. The tractor on the other hand, he just couldn't get enough of...
Weston did finally end up picking out a 40 pound pumpkin that we made Daddy carry since we missed the last hay ride back to the farm stand.

We also ended up with one little guy at the last minute since Weston was able to pull it off the shelf and carry it up to the register himself.

October Already?

Has it really been a month since I updated this site? Time goes by fast, yet sometimes I think November is taking forever to get here (6 weeks and counting til baby arrives). Weston's recent obsessions include hats and taking control of the camera. The later is making it difficult to get good pictures of him, since as soon as he sees such device he starts reaching for it (as seen below).

The world according to Weston includes:

Flo. (can't you tell?)
His own feet.
Self portrait with ceiling fan.
And these were just the pictures worth posting...I had about thirty to choose from.

The hat obsession includes Daddy's hard hat, his own ball caps (or yours if he can get it off your head) and his new farmer that came with a cowboy hat. In addition to his farmer dude, this little cowboy hat has been placed on his own head, Flo's head and of course, mom and dad's noggins. The new farmer was his first "big brother" gift (from the Farm Credit appraisal crew). I had fully intended to wait until I needed a distraction to give him this gift, but I learned very quickly that if you set a gift bag on top of the table when you come in the door, it only takes mere seconds before Weston has everything pulled out of it.
And if you haven't noticed, stripping off his clothes and running around naked is also a favorite activity.
