Silly boys

Weston asked to get his Halloween costume out, so lately Batman and a half dressed Robin have been running around the house.

 

 Then the other day they were headed outside for a jeep ride.  I came out a few minutes later to discover they decided to go fishing too and were headed to the ditch.  Flo was running after them trying to catch their fish. 

 The other night they got into a storage box under my bed, and found some of my old buckles.  They were pretty excited to wear them around.  I told Danny we should get them each one of their own with their brands on them, but he thought we just needed to get them to start showing cows soon so they can win some of their own.  I don't know if I'm ready for that.   

 

In the same box they found some other fun things....Tyge liked the crown, but Weston told me he couldn't be a princess because he was a boy, but insisted that his cow should be one. 

Boys room complete!

Although the big paint job (blocks on the wall) occurred a few months back, I finally finished the rest of the Weston's room.  I decided to paint a "coat tree", rather than just throw up some hooks and I got all of the other decorative stuff hung up on the walls too!  Now we need to move Tyge in with Weston so I can start updating the other bedroom.  It still looks pretty much the same as it did when I posted pictures of it back in 2008 (just with a toddler bed crammed in a corner now). I don't think I'm up for painting again right now, but I will definetely be changing up some other decorative aspects......spending lots of time on Pinterest these days!   

 



New Year with lots of new things to come

I'm sure 2013 will bring a few changes to our household, but the biggest may be adding some pink!

 Baby M is a girl (if you want to rely on the ultrasound tech).  Thanks to a few Christmas gifts, and two huge bags of hand me downs from a friend at work, the baby will be well dressed for the first six months!  But I'm not getting rid of any boy clothes yet...because you never know! 

Looking forward to another new adventure and I hope the boys will let her cuddle in bed and watch a movie with them like they have been doing with each other the last few nights.
