Christmas Tree Hunting

Had a nice sunny afternoon so we headed out in search of the perfect tree.

Weston was right there making sure Dad got it nice and straight!

So far Wes isn't interested in the tree unless you are doing something to it....but that may all change once the lights and ornaments are hung. We'll see how the decorating goes tomorrow.

Gobble, Gobble

Thanksgiving was just the three of us, however we tried our best to get in all of the traditional activities including:

Browsing the black Friday ads. Or in Weston's case; ripping them into shreds and hauling them around in this dump truck.
Thanksgiving feast. Yeah, this may look like how we typically have our dinner every night, but notice that our plates are piled high with good stuff. No fancy table, but we did eat enjoy turkey with all the fixins.
After feast nap and football watching. And finally, more football along with slipping into our jammies and letting our bellies hang out.

Walking Weston

Finally, a video of Weston walking. I apologize for the temporary blackness during the middle of this video shoot, but it gives you an idea of how much he likes bath time.

Very first haircut

Last Saturday (yes, I know I am lagging on my updating responsibilities), Weston had his first haircut. He sat incredibly still for the entire thing, even the buzzing trimmers part. Amazing I know. He now looks like a little boy, my baby isn't a baby anymore.
And one day, if I ever get my computer fixed I will upload a video of him walking around like a monkey. He is getting the balance thing down OK...as long as he waves his hands up and down his sides and head, hence like a monkey.

A very Happy Halloween

For his first Halloween Weston dressed as a giraffe. Surprisingly he didn't mind the costume and was happy the whole night.
Trick or treating demanded a car ride, since we don't live in town. We stopped at a few homes of friends.
Here he is on a doorstep, our neighbors Madison and Stephanie did all the doorbell ringing for him. I'm sure he'll take on a bigger role in the process next year.

He was anxious to find out what he had in his ghost bag...
which Daddy ate all of, except for a few shared bites.

Master at getting into places...
