Last Saturday the calendar said October 1, and since it was a nice sunny day I thought it would be a great time to harvest our pumpkins and do some fall decorating. This year's pumpkin crop wasn't the greatest, and we won't be giving mini pumpkins out to everyone we know this year (2010 was a great pumpkin year). We did get just enough to decorate our own front porch.
Weston started off by helping me cut the pumpkins off the vine.
Then he rolled them all over to where Tyge was hanging out on the grass. Finally the pumpkins made it to the front porch, where the two of them repositioned them multiple times (much to my dismay). We also had a few flowers to put with them, thanks to our customer dinner at work a few weeks back.
