Mornings start with a little vegging out, watching Sid the Science Kid or Little Bill. About 15 minutes in he wants his milk, and by about 30 minutes climbs off the couch and is ready to start the day. The kid has a hard time waking up...wonder where he gets that from????
Collecting things is his newest passion. Doesn't matter what it is, be it putting as many toys as he can fit in a nightstand drawer, or takings things out of drawers (like Dad's socks) and piling them up in random places.
Driving the pick-up is one of his favorite ways to pass the time. This works out well since we head about a mile down the road each day to feed our cows. Wes gets to sit on the center console on the ride there and he "drives" while I put out hay. And yes, we do make sure that the window is down and keys are in my pocket so I don't get locked out. If the cows aren't hanging out down by the manger Weston gets to go for a 4-wheeler ride to check fence and make sure they are all still around. He giggles when you go up the steep hills.
Many afternoons are spent chasing the cats. Surprisingly they don't mind when he catches one and pulls on them. Oh, and he has also gotten quite good at grabbing Flo's tongue when she is giving him kisses, but I haven't yet gotten that one on camera yet.
The day is often finished by taking all the Tupperware and canned goods out of the cupboards while mom does the dishes. Sometimes he finds an interesting choice for dessert. And there you have it...a typical day in the life of one perfect little boy.
