Then it occurred to me....take advantage of the opportunity and make it a family day. And that is what we did. Danny had to do a repair at a local dairy early in the morning, so we picked him up from there around 9am and made the trip over to the coast.
First stop was the air museum. Weston preferred the helicopters, while Tyge kept going outside of the blimp hanger to see the biggest ones.
The both got a kick out of "flying" the jets.
Next we headed north to Manzanita to view the properties I needed to look at, but in no time at all we were back in town and stopped for lunch at TCCA. After getting our squeekers and ice cream, the boys climbed in the van and make some deliveries. Our last stop was at Blue Heron, so the boys could play outside some more and I could purchase some of their blue cheese salad dressing for Grandma...hoping she'll take that as payment for watching the boys next week while we are in Vegas!
Did I say it already.....I love my job!
