Weston and I made a quick weekend trip to California to pick up some cows and a horse...while we were there he attended his first football game. He was really interested in watching the cheerleaders until half time when he fell asleep.
Welcome to the blog about the life and times of Weston, Tyge and Dani. Where you can follow the in's and out's of the cutest kids you'll ever lay eyes on (in my not so humble opinion).

9 Months Old
Yesterday we had our nine month well check and everything checked out fine! Weston weighs 23 pounds, 2.5 ounces, is 29 inches tall and in great health. His doctor was impressed with how many developmental milestones he has already achieved. Everyday there is something new. Over the weekend he discovered how to steer and turn around his push-walker. A nice relief for us, since now when he hits the wall, couch or chair he no longer whines until we come rescue him. He has such a big personality now and loves to play games. He also seems to be interested in lots of things...here are some possible career choices based on his recent activities:
Team roper or bull rider?
Optometrist or career student?
Veterinarian or lion tamer?
Janitor or house-husband?

Labor Day
We spent the holiday weekend in Montana visiting family. Danny and Olivia didn't get to come but Weston was able to spend some time with his cousin Reese, Auntie's Jen and Tami and Uncle Josh. While we were there Weston went to his first rodeo, rode the carosel and a (real) horse for the first time, and visited yet another Montana bar (there seems to be a trend here...).

August
Weston's favorite part of the day is heading back to see the heifers. I didn't catch it, but a second after this photo was taken Gracie licked Wes, and he didn't even flinch.
He's also sporting his first pair of wranglers today. Still a little big, but anything smaller than 12 months in size is way too tight.

He does like to watch the new additions to our little cow herd.
